We've got a used 2002 model with the 2-stroke engine. Our son loves it. We went on a ride yesterday when the temperature was probably around 20F under a clear blue sky. The quad sits in our unheated garage and hadn't been started in a week, so that engine was nicely chilled. I turned the fuel petcock to "Prime" for about two seconds to dump some fuel in the carb, then back to "On". I turned on the choke, then pulled the starter cord... and the engine fired right up on the second pull. Total time to get it started: about 15 seconds.

Now that's what I call a great product.
