Hi all,

My name is Josh. I got the kids a 05 90 E-TON for christmas, in near new condtion for 1400. It was to share between the 2 a 9 year old girl and 4 year old boy. well being in florida we got alot of riding with the week early christmas present. I am very pleased and my daughter took to it right off. I did have to bend in the back brake lever for her hand to be able to grip it firmly. So last friday I let the 4 year old steer and throttle at the same time and was pretty amazed. Later that night I sold a 500 dollar toy airsoft gun and decided it was going into a ride for the son. I thought I new a dealer that had quite a few of the bity bity ones that look like a pocket bike with 4 wheels and I thought I wanted one at a price of 399. the shop had none for sale and no others under 699. oh and he had 3 of the bitties that were in the " work" area. next day we hit the flea market I had my airsoft shop in and the shop was closed with a sign that said 90cc 575+ tax booth blaa blaa plus a phone #. I called and asked about bitties and he said he was out but look at 90. ok ok long read ya ya. Well we looked at it and sat on it. It is fushin? 90 4 stroke, in yellow. Small tires short wheel base narrow. Remote kill with start and alarm hooked to emergency teather. It fit him to the point if he stands he is just crotch over seat. is that ok? Bars didn't seem too wide, but brake was worse than the e-ton. any way I haggled and spun my web and drove away with it hanging out an 86 cressida (wish it was the wagon) for 475 no tax.

OK chain was super tight on the fushin I was able to loosen it , but the chain tensioners was missing a bolt. and the siren on the alarm/starter/kill switch don't work. but the un ubstructed range of the start/kill was like 350 feet. It has dual a arms that are way to short. This little basterd goes but it is loud and rattley, the bike not the engine. It goes slow well and has a mean little power band and will drop a tird and go for lack of a better term. It wont pull me in soft sand from a start and barley my daughter, it slides to much for her liking. I made hand brake extention for the fushins only brake, The rear disk. It allows my son damek to grab it and fully squeze it now.

We have already dressed the blue e-ton with pink split loom. Any one know of pink plastics? or full carbon fibre panels? we are both pretty creative so it should be fun.

We will be taking them both to riding classes and mx classes in about a month. We ride the bikes about an hour a nite on a set cource through a wooded trail that takes me 1:30 to complete and her 226 best so we can tell improvments and such. she has crashed once and almost a couple times since the 25th. her face . wow.

night guys have a happy new year.

Oh boy... I am trying to resist the urge to throw stones, so I hope you don't take this as a personal dig. But as someone who is very outspoken in my focus of safe riding for children, I have to speak out... so please take this as coming from someone who really cares about child safety etc.

First, I would like to point out that many states and safety organizations would consider your choices to be too large for the children based on ages. It is apparent that price was the major factor in your purchase decision. Not fitment etc.

I do not see any comments concerning purchase of safety equipment. I sincerely hope this was an oversight and that you have made the proper arrangements.

I am glad to hear you intend to get training, although because of the age versus size issue, you might find many will turn you away for liability reasons. Please do not get frustrated if you do.

Lastly, I am not aware of FLoridas laws, but you should look into the age versus size thing. In many states you would be in violation of the law and find yourself subject to some hefty fines. Please be careful, and watch them like a hawk.
