Default What oil?

Ive been using Valvoline 20-50 in our Kazuma Falcon 90. The "owner's manual", if thats what you wanna call it, didnt specify a certain type of oil (that I recall, the manual is long since lost). This time around I used Castrol 20-50 since Valvoline stopped making the 20-50. I know bikes with a "wet clutch" system need a motorcycle grade oil, but this Kazuma is an automatic. Been riding it for almost a year now and haven't had any problems, so Im gonna assume the "auto" oil works just fine. If not, well, I guess I shoulda asked this question almost a year ago. no problem, just keep the oil changed at around 25 hours since their's no oil filter. have you changed the reverse gear oil and the cvt trans oil yet? they both use 75-90 gear oil.

I thought it was all oiled by the main sump. Ill look, but Im pretty sure there is not another (separate) sump for the CVT on this particular bike. And it has no reverse.

my mistake i thought it said kazuma 150, yea you're right the transmission and engine share the same oil, still no problem just make sure you change the oil offen, the transmission gears shear the oil and breaks it down a little quicker, i've always use automotive oil in all my m/c's and atv's for 45 years and never had an oil related problem.
