Default Carb jetting

I want to gut and shorten the muffler on my kid's Kazuma 90. I already put the UNI filter on and it seems to have made alittle difference in the accelleration. After I do the muffler, Ill need to re-jet (or so they tell me). After these mods, do I need to go bigger on the main? Adding the higher flow air filter seems it would lean it out, its getting more air now but the same amount of fuel. So what about after I gut and shorten the pipe? And where can I get jets for this little carb? And once I have the new jets, how are they changed? Thanks guys!

this seems to be a very touchy subject for a lot of people. as many people answer your ? your going to get that many differant answers. i cant tell you where to buy jets for your carb but that would be my first priority or replacing the carb with one you can by jets for. then id read as many internet sites as i could to find out about jetting. theres a really good thread on this on this page about adjusting carbs . just my two cents.
