Anybody tried the cdi available on ebay from RM Stator? Or the Big Gun cdi? Thinking about getiing one just looking for some experienced opinions. Thanks in advance.

I used the procomm CDI. but I have read that the RMStator and Big guns are also good. make sure you do the carb. slider and throttle mods as well.

thanks for the reply. I've done the throttle and carb mod already. It seemed to help a bit but that limiter really kills it. Whats the Procomm worth?

I paid $129 (before I discovered ebay) but I've seen them on ebay now for $79 to $99. I bought one for our Raptor 80 recently on ebay for $99. I have also put the Raptor 80 tires on the 50. top speed after all the mods 25 mph and it handles the trails, mud and sand pretty good. The only mod I haven't done yet is removing some of the ***** from the clutch basket to allow it to rev higher before the clutch engages. I haven't run across the need to do this yet so I'm holding off.

Anybody else with cdi experience?
