Raptor 80 update
As some of you might remember I bought my daughter a Raptor 80 for Christmas this year. I wanted to let you all know that her and I have logged about 1100 miles since she started riding it and we have had absolutely no problems with this machine what so ever. This was a good purchase and the 4 wheeler has really been put thru the ringers. It's nice to get a good one from time to time.

Raptor 80 update
madmuddin1,
we've logged a alot of hours on our raptor 50 and 80 and have also not had any problems. we've done some mods to both of them. my sons really likes the Raptor 80 because he likes to be able to shift like the larger quads. I like them because they are very easy to maintain and modify. I also like the larger frame size of the raptor minis. I've seen some of the chinese and taiwanese minis out on the trail and some look like toys (and I'm talking the 90's and 100's). I think a front suspension update would be a nice (but not required) update and the lack of a tail light for braking is a safety issue. I've looked casually into the Hatfield McCoy trip. any further details about your experience would be appreciated

Raptor 80 update
atvingnc,
I agree independant front suspension and stop light updates would be great.
If you deside to take the bike to Hatfield McCoy I would say your safe to make the Pinacle trail system. It is the most family friendly and the most scenic of the trail systems. There are a couple hills that might be a little bit too much for the 80 but the maps you get at the trailhead station will locate the extreme trails for you and there are trails around them to avoid them if you want. The trail system was very well marked when I made my trip so I would feel safe to let my daughter ride the majority of it.
She has logged most of her miles at www.durhamtown.com We enjoy riding their and usually make several trips a year. She has also logged a lot of miles at www.broadriveratv.com but, this facility is very flat and alot of the trails are very muddy and not condusive for her 80. Other than these places we travel to the state parks for rides just to change things up from time to time.
Hope this helps you some,
Mud
