we have a eton 90 that has gone through 2 other grand children before coming to mine. i have had to work on it over the years, odds and ends (dirt dobbers in the tail pipe).....

now the wire from the started had become damaged at some point and one of the genius's i call kin half crap fixed it. i tried to do it correctly and after taking the starter apart i broke something. i know i can probably find another starter for it, but i have read on here that it also has a kick start, I DONT REMEMBER SEEING THAT???

seems like i do remember seeing the splined shaft like could have been for the kick start but there is no "lever" for kickin.

at least if i could manually start it my son could ride it even with out the starter.

any help?
will any bike kickstart lever work?
we dont have a eton dealer local, but do have the bigger dealers if that would work.

Actually on the dxl90 its a "emergency hand pullstart" you need to pull it up with your hand. eton sold kits that mount to the frame and holds a small "kickstart" lever that just slips on incase of emergency.any kick start should work tho as long as it fits the splines
we have the same atv and bought a kickstart lever for it off ebay 29 bucks i think ,never used it yet!

haad a eton 90 and tried to use it to start it never could get it to start with it

 

where would i look for this kick start/hand start? i mean is this something that is bolted to the frame now that i can unbolt and put on the shaft? i have work on this over the years, but never "looked" around it to much i do know the tool kit is long since gone by by in the fields around my dads.
