110cc fuel problem pls help

Default 110cc fuel problem pls help

i am new to the quad,atv i bought a 110cc for my son when he was riding it tonight it cut out when i looked there seemed to be petrol gushing from the carb, there is a pipe that comes from the tank to the carb, is there a pipe missing if so where would it go to, i am not very good with engines at all, can any one help please or am i totaly on the wrong track[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] please see my photo page and the bit of the carb is where its dripping on the the black block thing

Where on the carb is the gas gushing from? When you say pipe, did you mean hose instead? Are you talking about the "black block thing" at the right side of your photo?

Sorry for all of the questions. Just need some clarification.

Default 110cc fuel problem pls help

Looking at your photo in your member gallery, if the gas is coming from the pointy part just to the left of the cylinder (black block thing on far right side of photo), there is a screw at the bottom of the carb on the opposite side of the carb from where you took this picture. The screw must be turned all the way in until tight to keep the fuel from leaking out of the carb. Make sure that you're turning the screw on the bottom of the carb. Don't turn the screw located more towards the top of the carb or you'll mess up your carb adjustment and have a whole new set of problems on your hands.

If I'm wrong about where your gas leak is, post back and we will try something else.
