I'm having some issues with my little bros 90cc Dinli. It sat for quite some time, and I went to start it last weekend and got nada. I figured the battery was dead so I threw the charger on it for about 45 minutes. Still nothin. I put my multimeter on the battery and it's reading 12+volts, until I pull the brake lever then it drops to nothing. I am not getting any power to the starter either. Anybody have any tips before I tear into it more tommorow?

 

Before you start tearing into it, start with the beginning of the system.....the battery.

It could very well have a bad cell in it or be low on fluid or just not hold a charge.

Use a battery from a known good ATV and see if she will start, if it still does not, then start with the obvious such as a bad ground maybe?
