07 predator 50 help
#1
I have a 4-stroke predator 50, my daughter is too short for a 90, but her abilities have outgrown the 50. Is there any way to give this engine more pep? Does it have any restrictors in the exhaust/intake? Are there any performance cams or big bore kits available?

I don't think the four stokes have restrictors in the intake or exhaust. Im not 100% sure. Have you tried a no rev cdi box? Different rear or front sprocket? Bigger tires? That stuff will give it more top end. Is the bike actually made by Polaris or is it a Kymco or E-TON? Is it a cvt transmission(belt driven)? Have you checked to see if it has a spacer where the belt rides on(assuming its a cvt)? Remove it if it does. Hope that helps to a certain degree.

I don't know where to find a different CDI box, and I don't know if someone else makes it. It has pretty big tires on it, and I would like it to have more power all the way around, not just top speed. Thanks for the ideas, though, I'll check the cvt.

Not wanting to bust your bubble, but I think that there are not alot of upgrades available for that unit. I would sell it, as they are going pretty well if they are in good shape, then I would buy a larger one. You would likely spend close to what it would cost to upgrade that one. Higher rpms will not give you all the way around power. I do not think a CDI box will give you any felt bottom end performance.
