Anbody have any experience with these 125cc quads? They sell them locally at Pep Boy's. I picked one up and just got it put together. Anything in particular to watch for other than tightening up bolts and such after riding? I think they sell some performance upgrade parts for these quads also... does anybody know who carries them? Thanks,
Jeff

Just so you know, if you picked it up at Pep Boys, its not a Xtreme Typhoon... its a copy. Make sure to keep an eye on the welds back by the swingarm.... the copies are weak there. Also do not do anything to the engine performance wise, it will tear it up, just ride it. The real xtremes run different hardened gears & a different crank that can take the engine performance parts that they sell, but the copies you will end up with a junker engine. Keep an eye on nuts & bolts & use some loctite if they loosen.

How can you tell the difference in them by just looking? Are these the real ones? http://koolkidzatv.com/Xtreme.html

Yes those are real ones. Go to xtrememotorco.com & look up REAL Xtreme dealers on there. Put the dealers zip code in & see if they pop up...if not they are fake ones. Type in your zip & see if you have a dealer near by you. Here is another Authorized Xtreme online dealer http://www.kidatvs.com/Unison/Desert-Cat-90.php The link shows Unison for some reason, but they have xtremes & do come up on xtremes website for a authorized dealer.
