Default help with electric start

Ok here goes. Kick start the bike and remove the battery. Hook up a meter to the battery leads and set the meter to dc voltage. Headlights, brakes, and all auxilary electrical equipment should be turned off now with the bike idling and the battery unhooked, hook the meter to the battery leads. What is the reading?
