Installation Of New Jets
#1
I just got my new Jets for my Jetmoto 250 and need to install them cause i cant ride it for very long. After i send this im going to remove plastic, drain gas out of carb and then i need to know how to install Jets. There are two pieces do these go inside carb or where the air flow mixture screw goes. I would really appreciate if someone can respond quickly please. Thanks

Ok thanks guys i got them installed and seems to work it just i think i still have some sort of problem. When im riding and im in 3rd gear and then shift to Neutral it dies on me is this normal or could it also be the battery? Has anyone had a similar problems? Raceway said it could be the jets but already replaced and still same problem. I just checked the voltage on battery and it may be problem when i turn on it drops to 9VDC and back to 11.86VDC when it just idling. Any suggestions guys. thanks for support

I'm not trying to be a wise guy but why do you shift to neutral from 3rd while your riding?I dont think your jets would have anything to do with this problem if this is why you changed jets

Nor would it be the battery, at that point your running off the charging system of the motor! And how can you shift into Neutral while riding and shifting from 3rd. The only two gears that are available are 4th or 2nd. You would have to go from 3rd to 2nd then 1st then neutral!
How does it Idle?
How does it run cold?
How does it run while accelerating warmed up?
My guess is fine to all of these!
If it dies when coming to a stop while the clutch is pulled in then adjust the screw on the side of the carb in a bit to raise the idle RPM!
