Eton 50 Spark Dies
#1
2001 Eton AXL 50 was given to me. Rebuilt top end. replaced plug, cleaned carb, mixing gas/oil and ran fine for three days. Just died while daughter was riding. Checked plug and got no fire, plenty of gas. Had coil tested at Honda shop. Recently bought CDI and get spark for about the first 30 or so flywheel turns while holding push-button starter on left handle bar. CDI definitely made a difference, but I cannot understand the spark starting off strong and geting nothing after a certain amount of flywheel revoltions. I don't have specs on stator voltage readings, but do have a primitive wiring diagram. Can anyone hlep, I'm sure it something simple.
Thanks

Also make sure if you still have the pull cord kill switch on the back that it is making good connection. you can always test it by unplugging it and hooking the two wires from your main wiring harness together and bypass the switch. The two wires are running on the frame just behind the rear grab bar under your rear fender.
