my stocker runs awsome but have found today it has better power from a standstill with the choke on. less lag time. with choke on it will take off almost instantly little lag time. choke off it falls on its face. but top end power and speed is the same.very clean carb.I always thought that leaner was faster. but that theory seems to be shot with this one. needle is up 1 slot from stock. so yes leaner by one slot. any ideas on this is richer faster??????

adjusting the air/fuel screw makes no diferance? try to bump up the pilot jet ,see what happens. i'd put the clip back to where it was too.. plus its still not that warm out yet dense air needs more gas it may run great like this at 80 degrees+

Are you sure the LT80 doesn't have an air mixture screw? Our LT50 has one.
