Default 250D swingarm

Anyone have any ideas about what swingarm could be used as a replacement for a TaoTao 250d? Mine snapped on me (1 part idiocy 2 parts bad weld) couple weeks ago and the company I originally purchased from is giving me the runaround. I kind of expected a bit of a hassle when I bought this, but waiting 6 weeks for a replacement is killing me lol. I can't find measurements for swingarms anywhere. I know it's 9 1/2" at the mount and 20" long at the tips of where the bearing carrier attaches.

Find the seller best_bike on Ebay as he sells the Taotao 250 D and while I didn't buy my Taotao from him, he has been very nice answering questions and might be able to get you a swing arm from Taotao as you have to be a dealer to get parts.

How bad did it break ? If it just snapped a weld then I would take it off and have a welding shop weld it for you, and they could even beef up your swingarm with better welds and maybe some added bracing. I can't imagine breaking the swing arm as my Taotao 250 D has really good welds, you must of really jumped it.

Hehe well, the one part stupid I referred to was me being new and still figuring this stuff out, but I had run with the tires a bit too hard and the shock on the softest setting. I didn't make any big jumps on it at all, at best maybe a foot or so off the ground, but after I looked at the swingarm on one of the crossbars the weld was very weak. But as far as where it broke it was right where the bearing/axel carrier bolts up. the bars on either side kinda ripped, not along the welds. And I kinda expected to tear this thing up anyways.

Though I must say that even with it breaking, which was probably mostly my fault, I have no complaints with the bike at all, other than the lack of easily replaceable parts. And after reading Grampz post about the front sprocket change I'll probably be swapping that out.

And the bad weld I referred to looked to have been cracked for quite a while and had allowed a lot of moisture to get trapped in there and cause some serious rust.
