If it is the carb the float could be sticking and it pouring out of your overflow line, Is the fuel valve (petcock) closed?

Sounds like what grump said about the float being stuck. That is, unless one of the fuel lines have rotted or disintegrated and came apart/loose. If the machine has a petcock (fuel on/off valve), you should always turn it off when in storage. If it is the overflow tube, sometimes you can take a small screwdriver handle and tap the bowl on the carb to dislodge the float needle and stop the flow of fuel. If this doesn't work, the carb will have to be removed and cleaned.
If the fuel line has come apart/loose, you will need to reconnect and/or replace the line.

Does this quad have a clutch or is a automatic. It sounds like the float is stuck,if i know what motor you have i can tell you what parts you need.
