Default Eton Viper 50 mini - Different Hubs?

Hello all. I just picked up and 05 Eton Viper 50mini, and the first thing I want to do is change out the tires for more clearance and stability.

But, this thing has the single bolt hub design. Does anyone know if there is an adapter to go to a 4 bolt hub so I can widen my choice of wheels and tires?

Thanks!

Uh, never mind. Had my question answered by ETON. For those that may wonder what the answer is...

"For the Viper 50M the Viper 90 rear wheels and tire can be mounted by changing the rear axle connectors to the one used on the Viper 90.

Changing the front tire and rim would involve replacing the steering knuckles and installing the front brake system as the front rim attach to the brake drum.

To order your part directly from ETON America follow this link to our on-line part store; http://www.etonamerica.com/catalog/"

Cheers!

I know it is a bit late for you, but may be helpful to someone else. I did this to my son's Eton Viper 70M 4-stroke a few months ago (the 70M and 50M aside from the engine use identical parts). The back wheels are done as was stated in your post. The front wheels aren't as difficult as you led on though. All that is needed are the 2 front brake drums - part#650538, 8 stub bolts (M10x33) - part#610040, 8 locking flange nuts (M10x20) - part#650961 and 4 oil seals (22x35x7) - part#650345. All other parts needed are reused from the existing wheels such as the castle nut, cotter pin, bearings, spacers and washers. Study the differences in the front & rear wheels & tires parts diagrams. For a model with the 4 bolt pattern I looked at the RXL-70. I did not install the complete front drum braking system since all I wanted to do was to have a 4 bolt pattern. Replacing the steering knuckles is not necessary. The Eton store is the cheapest place to buy factory parts for your Eton. Follow the link in AFamilyAffair's post.

I bought new wheels and tires from recreationtires.com. They have a good selection of rims and tires and seemed to be very reasonably priced. They also mounted the tires on the rims I purchased and were shipped quickly.

I know this is a dead post, but I'm trying to find a way to do this to my Viper Jr 40. Is it possible on the 40? Would I use the same parts list as listed above? Thanks guys,
Brian
