ok i've been keeping my mouth shut until now, i agree you'd be 100% better off waiting and buying a used major brand or just keep looking on craigslist, but since you're not willing to do that and are insisting on a chinese quad then the only 110cc quad i would recommend would be the hibird QH110ST from anamcycles.com , here's the reason why, hi bird is the manufacture, importer, and distributor for their quads only. the QH110ST is adult size, you won't look silly riding it,it has 8" rims, 3 speed simi automatic with reverse, if you buy the camo green (same price as any other color) it has the high performance alumimium cylinder with the keihin carburetor. the other colors use a cast iron cylinder with a chinese carb. top speed with the stock 14 tooth counter spocket is 38-40 mph but should be changed to a 13 tooth, the hibird 110cc will out climb any of the 150cc chinese quads and are faster on top speed. they also have a automatic chain tensioner. they are designed from the yahama raptor. best of all the price is $699 delivered to your door, they ship the same day as ordered and only takes a couple of days to get it after ordered. for any more information on the hi bird 110cc you can e-mail me at luvmysxs@yahoo.com. i purchased 2, a camo green and a blue one for the grandkids in march of 08.

That looks awesome, luvmysxs I just have one question.
1. What did you mean by the 14 tooth counter spocket should be replaced by a 13 tooth?
2. Is the green camo really equiped with a high performance cylinder and carburetor? it doesnt say anything about this on their website.
3. In your experience whats the max weight this atv can hold?
4. In your experience what is the atvs max speed.
5. Not that this really matters but I was wondering what the milage this atv gets. In the long I really dont care but I was just kind of intrested.
Thank you for all of your help.

Answer #1: Going to a small sprocket will give it more speed on the top. The spec on the web said it has a top speed of 30mph if I remember correctly. This should go up a little bit with a smaller sprocket. If you go with a bigger sprocket you will have better "power" on the bottom but the top speed will be reduced.
Answer #3: Probably in the low to mid 100's. Check the spec's on the web. I have seen full size adults ridding these things around but have no idea what that kind of long term weight will do. Shocks will bottom out easier.
Answer #4: Luvmysxs told you above about 38 to 40mph.
Answer #5: The gas tank on most ATV's are sized so it can run about 8hrs without a fill up. This will vary with how heavy you are and what you are ridding on. For example my Polaris Sportsman 500 gets only about 16mpg off road ridding aggressively. Ridding on pavement (it is street legal) it gets 28 to 30mpg. Someone that owns this particular ATV will have to say. If you have a GPS, go on a ride, check the miles, top of the tank and then divide gallons to the mile.

hey mile high , ok a smaller front spocket will lower the gear ratio, meaning more bottom end taking away some top speed, a bigger spocket will increase top speed, just to let you know. we gps the green camo one with a ten year old on it with the stock 14 tooth spocket and he hit 38mph, what i don't know if that all the speed since this was the fastest he ever rode and was scarded to death. with the 13 tooth spocket it should still beable to hit 30-32 mph, i don't know i haven't check it yet. the hibird 110 has a 2 gallon fuel tank, this pretty much lasts the whole day of riding. spec says 300lbs load,

I have a few questions for you, and please do not think I am making fun of you here. First of all, have you considered a USED machine? I'd highly recommend a full sized machine, as you are going to be outgrowing a mini, and at your size and weight, I'd not go any smaller than a 250. You can find good used Blasters, or older warriors in that price range that are not worn completely out.
Seocndly, parts availability of Chinese models are not exactly plentiful. You have to plan on being a pretty competent mechanic that can modify parts that were made for something else and adapt them to your machine. If you are not a competent mechanic.. then I'd avoid them.
third, is there teh possibility that you could work to save a little more cash to step up a little? There is nothing wrong with having to work for something...
Lastly, if this is the absolute most money you have to spend, I am assuming that all your money will go towards the purchase of the machine, and there will be little if no money left for safety gear. You could easily spend that 600 on that. A good helmet and boots will cost over half that amount... If you cannot afford the minimal helmet, then do something else. It is that simple. Under no circumstances should you consider riding without a helmet. If you can get the seller to throw in a used helmet, do it. Most of us have several sitting on a shelf collecting dust. All you have to do is ask dude.
I feel you frustration.. but do not be too hasty in your zeal to get something that you put yourself at risk. If you have to wait to get what you really want or need, then do it. DON't jump at teh first thing that comes along just because you are wanting one so bad you can taste it. We have all been there, and I believe most will tell you, they had wished they had waited just a little longer. Offer the seller what you can afford... let them know that this is your max and be prepared to walk away. Give them your phone number, you might be surprised to find a message waiting for you when you get home.
Lastly, based on your countrsprocket question, I am guessing you are a complete novice to motorcycles, quads and anything mechanical in nature. That is nothing to be ashamed of... and trust me, you can learn how to work on these things... It just takes time.

Hey folks, this kid is a complete novice to teh ATV scene.. Let's not fill his head with a bunch of stuff that we all know is either dangerous or will not work... First of all, ATV's are made for the dirt period. Suggesting a kid can jump on this thing and tool on down the road is irresponsible and could lead to his death. In FL, they don't have a helmet law, but any reaonable person would never ride without one... (OK, go ahead and bark all you want on that one, I stand on the statement) I read all the time where kids in FL are getting killed on the streets. It is plain stupid, and using the machine for something it is not intended for. That is why they have a sticker that clearly states FOR OFF HIGHWAY USE ONLY on them.
As for how fast it will go.. who cares. In the dirt it isn't at all how fast the machine can go, it is all about having fun right? Why cloud the issue with beating the kid next door. The real answer here is the kid can't afford to do this right, and if not, then he shouldn't be considering it in teh first place. If he wants to ride on the street, get a moped...
We can make jokes about this all day, but remember, your comments can get a kid killed... so keep that in mind before going off on atangent. He clearly doesn't know the first thing about ATV's other than his neighbor has one, and now he wants one. That is all he knows. A better answer would be for him to study the subject, read every magazine he can get his hands on, follow lists like this and LEARN about them. He also needs to know that the answers he may get from a seasoned rider may not be appropriate for a complete novice. There is much more to these things than simply putting gas in it, firing it up, and holding on.... I can train a chimp to do that.
Bottom line... Lets make this a safe transition for the young man...
