MY SON HAS A RAPTOR 50 AND I WANT TO CHANGE THE CDI BOX OVER TO AN 80 CDI BOX IS THIS DIFFICULT

 

No it is not. Obviously it will require the cutting and splicing of wires. I believe that the wire colors on the Raptor 50 match those on the Raptor 80 CDI. you should end up with an extra wire or two on the 50 that doesn't have a match on the 80 CDI. just electrical tape the end of them and tie wrap up out of the way. Is this an OEM CDI or a high-rev CDI ? I can email you the wiring diagram for both so you can see how the wires match up.
