My son bought a V4S a couple months ago and many of you have read about our bad experiences, regarding the quality of this particular bike. Well more parts have gone bad: Both muffler straps broke, Ignition Switch, tail light assembly and Gas tank.

Now I have sent them back to Tim or are in the process of sending them and Tim has taken care of it so far, BUT, this bike will be out of warranty soon and I'll be paying for all this stuff, assuming that the replacement parts are as poor quality as the original on the atv.

My big questions are: is there an alternative place to buy higher quality parts that will fit this ATV. Who actually makes this atv? When I go on parts sites V-Bike is not listed, but a bunch of others are.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try this it dont have v-bike listed but i use this for my Jetmoto dont know if this will help but its worth a shot.

 

since 95% of all parts on your taotao are generic, i wouldn't worry about it until you need a part. then match the part up to another chinese brand, my favorite dealers are on e-bay, i've been able to find every part i needed there for the last 6 years.
