Chinese 110 Panther - No power in forward, spins tires in reverse
#1
Hello Everyone,
I just purchased a Panther 110cc ATV, and put it together myself. Well, to make a long story short, during setup and idling to get the carb adjusted, it overheated and blew a head gasket. So, I completely removed the cynlinder head and replaced all gaskets, then went through the carburetor completely to clean.
Now, it idles great and will spin the tires in reverse, even uphill. However, when I try to go forward, it doesn't have much power and sounds as if the engine is bogging down. Once I get going, it will scoot down the road rather smoothly. It doesn't even have power to climb the ramps into my truck bed going forward.
I have tried adjusting the mixture screw and idling screws in accordance with this site. Just no luck...
Any help/ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Al
