Default Yamaha breeze burning oil

I have a breeze that i bought for my daughter a few years ago. I think it is a 1999-2001, not really sure on the year. When i got it, i bought it cheap because it did not run right. I found the choke was stuck on and they had been riding it like that. It smoked a little but the price was right. Now it is starting to use oil and smoke more. Is this most likely the piston rings? Is it possible the extra fuel in the cylinder washed out the walls? My basic question is has anyone bored these little bikes out? and where is the best place to get parts, piston, rings, gaskets? My local dealer is just way to high on things. I bought a spark plug for my dirt bike there and they charger me $5 for it, i went to napa the next day and got the same plug for $2.09! And they said they were giving me a good deal because i have bought several bikes there!

My sons breeze will smoke from time to time and uses a very slight amount oil, but not enough to worry about. Rarely do we have to add any. I searched around a few months ago and dont recall the names of any particular site, but if you google what your looking for you will find lots of different places to get parts for these bikes. Hope this helps.

this one is starting to smoke pretty bad and is now burning quite a bit of oil. I figure since cold weather is setting in it would be a good time to tear it down.
