jeffescortlx....my friend you have been warned; I really dont think you looking past the price, it is a great deal, but the probability that you will be wrenching more than riding is high. And that service after the sale is not the selling point to these. Just like others you were drawn to it by the price. I widh you well.

For Christmas, the bigger issue is getting it for your kids, them seeing it and getting all pumped up, and then it not working. Now you have to send it back or wait for parts. 6+ weeks later you get the parts and maybe it runs fine, maybe something else is the problem. In the meantime you end of feeling like crap and Santa (or you, depending on who it is from) gets a really bad rap. I am in the same boat you are. The ONLY thing my son wants is a 4wheeler for Christmas so he can be like dad... After pricing new ones and checking the ole budget, that is not doable right now. So, after searching everywhere for the last month (local paper, Craiglist over a 4 state region, eBay, local advertiser papers) I found a used one for $400 that I was lucky enough to be the first caller. By the time I got to the ladies house she had a 25 person waiting list!!! I still do plan on getting him a new one mid next year but this will safely do what we need it to do. I debated the new vs used for Christmas and honestly, it could be a pink camo atv with a barbie flag and he would still ride it (after destroying the barbie flag and riding over it...). Good luck either way, it's tough (and expensive) being a good dad!!!

Id find a local dealer that sells cheap chinese atvs then buy one from him and if there is a problem( 90% of the time there is for chinese) then you wont have to wait as long to get it fixed. Good luck

kingquad400,
the problem is still parts, alot of these dealerships only sells the atv and do not carry parts. I am not bashing the chinese quads, just the problem when you buy one.

Actully, I did find a local dealer: kidatvs.com
He has all most the exsact same model as atvdiscounter.com, infact side by side they have the same body, wheels, tires and from what I can tell frame, engine, brakes and tranny. The only difference is the kidatvs.com is only a 90cc instead of a 110 and it does'nt have a rear luggage rack.
I emailed the local place to see if he could match the price of atvdiscounters if I picked it up my self, he said he could'nt because his machine cost more and is superior in build from the atvdiscounters... But the kidatvs.com is $191 more, and said he'd only knock off 50 bucks for local pickup, even though his web page say's free delivery is a $175 value.

And, this does'nt have to be in time for christmas, too damn cold out any ways lol.

I did.
I figure, I'll use my credit card to place the order. If the guy does'nt ship in a reasonable about of time, I'll do a charge back.

And I know china machines have there problems, and I'm capable of fixing my own machines. I have a good start on a small machine shop in my garage.
After all, I own 2 Polaris's from the 80's, I know what wrench'en is all about.
