E-ton txl 50 wont run
#1
Just picked up a txl 50. we cleaned the carb and it fires but wont start and it seems to be dumping some oily residue out of the spark plug hole.we capped of the oil injection and just mix the gas/oil. we pull the plug and spin it over to blow that oily stuff out.reinstall the plug and it will try to start on the first try then nothing.we repeat and ge that same stuff coming out of the plug hole.any ideas?i hate to throw this thing away as its in good shape.

I would check the compression. I think it should have around 100psi.I have a 90cc eton and it was a bear to start. Installed new jug/piston and rings from a kit they sell on ebay for $170. Fixed mine.

Someone gave me one that didn't run. Same symptoms as you mention. Noticed there wasn't anything coming out the tailpipe when we cranked it. Pulled off the exhaust and it fired right up. Found it was completely plugged with mud by wasps. Filled it with water and let it soak for 40 minutes to soften the dirt.
