moving up from Raptor 50
#1
My son has had a Raptor 50 for about three years now. He is 8 and still enjoys it, but I think he is ready for something bigger.
I have been very happy with this little Yamaha. It is tuff as nails even if it is a bit slow. I have found a good deal on a Raptor 80, and about to get it but was just wondering if it will be a big enough jump for him.
I would like him to ride it for about four years and then he might be big enough for my Rancher??
Will he notice a performance increase, and will it be big enough?
If not what would you reccomend. I think I will stay away from the china bikes for now.
Thanks

My daughter rides a 50cc Wombat and my son an LT80....when he has to move it around in the garage or on the track it just seems like it putts compared to the 80cc machine.
The problem is once he outgrows the 80/90cc class machines there isnt much selection.......short of the Yamaha Grizzly 125 nobody makes a machine thats the logical next step.
