A few LT50 questions

A few LT50 questions
After a few problems with oil pump etc I've decided to cut it off and pre mix, but what would the ratio be best at?I took the whole mechanism off and plugged up the hole with bolt, is this correct way to do this?
Also would else would I have to do to the carb etc or could I leave as is?
