2007 four stroke predator 50
I did not want to post this as I wanted to search the forum but I could not search for words under four letters! I have the above quad that runs.... when you push it forward and it goes. Basically no low end power. I have cleaned the carburetor, check the valves, and have the manual but no idea where to start on what is causing this!
SUGGESTIONS?
transmission? belt slipping? how do I check this? Belt does not look worn but needed to replace the bearing in the case on the kick starter side last year....
clean out the cvt side? how is this done?

If you have an air compressor and the clutch cover is off best way to clean the clutches is with an air gun to get rid of the belt dust and dirt. Make sure you have an open area to do this. If you're sure the carb is ok and the valves have proper clearance, have you changed the spark plug also? If not could be something simple as a plug starting to foul out. Plus is fuel fresh, air filter clean?. Has to have air, fuel, compression and spark. I would also check the compression, the manual should give the average readings. If none of this helps than you may need to check the resistance specs for the ignition system. OPT

I put a new spark plug in and it started right up the air filter is clean, fresh 93 octane compression tested 125 psi I am thinking need to clean up the clutch area but even with the manual not sure how easy it is going to be. I would also like to take off the electrical side but again the manual sucks and would like a Youtube video or something so wish me luck!
