2000 lt80 slow turn over

Default 2000 lt80 slow turn over

hi guys, ive just bought my son a lt80 and it turns over really slow when you use the starter button, if i by pass all this and put the starter directly to the batterry the quad will turn over fast and start fine... not really sure what is going on any help or advice would be great.. cheers
ive tried another starter switch but no joy and it has a brand new battery

Check the voltage of the battery first and make sure you have 12.5 volts plus. Make sure you have no wires that are worn or damaged. Then there is a relay that is just next to the battery that could be going bad also not letting enough voltage to get to the starter. If you have a meter work your way back from the starter and see where the voltage takes a hit.
