Default Eton DXL 90 - New Carb - High Idle

I have an Eton DXL 90 that had a really bad gummed up carb. I bought a replacement on eBay for 20 bucks. I installed it last night and it started up on the first crank (GREAT NEWS)! It went straight from a decent idle to a very high idle that had it rolling forward constantly. I adjusted the air/fuel mix to 1 1/2 turn out from closed and adjusted the idle screw 1 turn out from closed. Regardless of where I set the idle screw, it didn't change the extremely high idle. Anyone have any tips for me to look at?
My 110 chinese model with it's new carb runs like a champ now and idles perfectly! Couldn't be happier with that one as my son has been itching to ride!

Thanks in advance,
Carl

double check that you put the slide in right. Its easy to get them in the wrong way.

Zrock, If the rain lets up this evening I will check that. My buddy installed the carb on the Eton, I installed the one on the 110! If it's his fault, he owes me a beer!
