there are a number of dealers all over the country, most of the quads are being pre-sold... so you probly won't see one sitting on a showroom floor. the bonus is you don't have to wait months for it to show up, you can have it in about a week. also, since they are wide in stock form(51"), you probly won't see many putting around in tight woods trails unless they've been narrowed, like lt250r91 has done to his.
here's a dealer list
retail is $7695 for the 300 2-stroke and $8495 for the thumper... the thumper had a few problems, but is to be re-released very soon if it hasn't already.
however, if you don't mind a little bit of a drive, i know a place not too far away from you that will hook you up with a sweet deal check out smackover motorsports

I've talked to a guy a couple times in Kansas City that has one of the first ones. Best thing to do if your interested in one of these machines is to give the importer a hollar @ 1-877-9 GasGas and ask for the closest dealer to you. GasGas is very busy working on their new site just for the motorsports division in the USA, plus prepping the machines and shipping them to the dealers and also dealing with people like me who are racing the quads and giving them imput on what me would like to see changed and any problems me are experiencing. With all this going on they haven't had time to update the dealerlist. Also with the rapid sales of the quad more dealers are becoming GasGas dealers so just give the importer a call.
