Bankrupt!!!!

What I'm more disappointed in more than anything is the lack of committment from the American consumer. For years everyone was crying for someone to manufacture a high performance quad, everyone was tired of the same old crap, Banshee's 400EX's, etc., nothing new or innovative. Along comes the Cannondale quads and the performance is out of this world, no competition, hands down the best all around quads produced. And to top it off, it's a US company that does it, double bonus!! Aluminum frames, EFI, holeshots, Ohlins, race quads, dune quads, MX quads, GNC quads, they had it all, whatever you wanted but the ***** *** American consumer did not have the ***** to support the product!! "oh well it's not a Honda or Yamaha so it can't be any good", is what alot of people said. Well when Honda and Yamaha first came out with their brand new offerings, you don't think they didn't have problems!!

I think if they had the money to wait to release the quad another year and to just keep testing it they would have cut the number of problems by at least 50% if not more and they would have sold more units. They were just getting profitable when they ran out of money. If the Montgomery's pockets were a little deeper they could have ridden the storm out longer and would've eventually been making money. My best freind has a Dale and I love riding it more than any other quad including my own but you can't blame people for waiting to see how a quad holds up and then being reluctant to spend their money when some problems arise. If someone buys the intillectual property and makes them mechanicaly sound I would own one in a second I've gotten no greater rush off of a stock quad ever. I also don't agree when people complained about the price. For only $500 msrp over a raptor you get a lot of extra stuff and what is in my opinion better frame geometry including a wider, lighter and lower quad.

No engine reliability has been the demise of the atv's IMO.....not sure about the bikes. ALL cdale atv's around here that I know of have been down...we are talking major FUBR on low hour engines. I hate it for the people that took a chance and wound up biting the bullet.....especially customers.
