I think it is all done at this point. It looks like from all the reports, nothing will happen. But on the other hand parts hopefully will not be, many people are working on getting parts lined up for the bikes that are out there...

 

Hay maybe Harley can fit one of those huge 95 cubice inch V- Twins in one of those Moto 440s. Now that would be a hi performance quad! Well at least i can dream.

Hey Cannondalers, this whole thing sucks, I wish there was something we could do. I wish I was rich, I would pick up where they left off. Well who knows what will happen, just keep your fingers crossed.

That must be how rockrider was born.His parents wished for a Cannondale and out he came.It must suck being them.
Or was it tester?I dont know they both act the same so I get them mixed up.

I want to shed some light on Rockrider and his obvious mental issues. He has such a chip on his shoulder due to the fact that he was molested by TESTER!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with sportyroxx that Harley has the money, expertise, manufacturing capabilities and dealer net work to pull this off. It would be a good move for them while keeping another American powersport company alive. If you remember back to the early 1980's Harley was in real hard shape and the government stepped in to help them by putting import restrictions on motorcycles with over 700 cc of displacement. Maybe they should think back and realize it may be pay back time and help out the people who own, drive and work for Cannondale. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

New Ownership is becoming less and las likely. Even the rumors have slowed down to almost nothing. It looks like several companies are gonna make replacement parts for the quads, though. That is the important part. This economy sucks and I notice fewer and fewer companies are expanding or laying out huge piles of cash anywhere it is not absolutely necessary. There are exceptions, but this is the overwhelming trend. At least we can get the parts we need.

 

Since you mentioned replacement parts, which companies are making them. I am trying to find someone i can get parts for. Nothing wrong now, just want the piece of mind. The local dealership does not stock too much. Thanks for any help. 2002 Speed
