Default Is this machine finally perfect

Well its been 6 months since the factory closed . I must say Im impressed with how all the owners ,dealers and aftermarket part venders have stepped up to take over where Cannondale left off. It seems that almost all of the many teething pains have been addressed for current owners to benefit from. Crankcase studs, crank bearings, valve cover corrosion, motor mounts, water pump impellers, ect. Now with the prices so low there has never been a better time to purchase such an exotic machine. My quad has almost 100 hard riding hours on it and knock on wood it has never let me down. It did however have a few minor problems like loosing the tranny filter inside the block but luckily I caught it in time. I fouled a few spark plugs before I learned how to start a fuel injected machine. (old carburator habit of pumping the throttle).

I just want to thank all of you for answering my questions and steering me towards great deals. I hope I can help others out like you all have helped me. Special thanks to Ryanstones,Jaybr,Lewis,Maz,and Scooter from Optimum. You guys rock. I am now confident my machine will keep me happy for many more years.

Hey Wisetech,
I lost my tranny filter up inside the bike also. How did you get it out?

I just tipped the bike to the right and used a used a piece of wire and a long skinny needle nose pliars . It took about ten minutes of pickin at it and a lot of eyestrain but it came out and I was able to reuse it. I think there is a kit out to make install easier to install but i think ive got it now . Do not force the threads with a wrench. Fingers only till its fully seated.
