I OWN A 2001 FX400 AND NEED TO REPLACE THE REAR SWINGARM. WILL A 2003 CANNIBAL SWINGARM FIT ON MY FX400? PLEASE HELP!

 

I have the parts manual for the fx400 and it says the part number is 252-6000253 for the swingarm and a 2002 cannbal swingarm manual says the part number is 252-6000726. This might not mean anything. They sure look the same to me. PM me and I can email you the manuals.

 

I believe they are interchangeable. The older part# was for for the swingarm that wasn't boxed in in the center. The newer ones are stronger.

 

if you cain't find out here there is a guy running around the cannondaleriders.com site that says he was an engineer for cdale. he should know.

 

Yep, it'll fit. All parts are interchangeable except the Aarms and they need only slight mods.
