Default injectors

Anyone know what a set of injectors is going for these days. Mine are plugged or something. I just got them cleaned at RS performance. I put them in and the bike started fine. The fuel pump went out the next weekend when I went out to start it. I replaced that and the fuel is running through fine but I'm not getting any fuel through my injectors. If anyone can help me write back. If replacing these doesn't work it's going to be the last straw. Look for an 01 Cdale for sale. It has a lot of extras, If there are any takers I'll sell it now.

Did you check the strainer in the tank? If its plugged cavitation in the pump could cause it to fail early. I seriously doubt the injector would ever fail or wear out in a dale. They run for thousands of hours in cars and they are the same type.

Well they don't spray. Thats the problem. Its okay though because I got a set that have a wider spray pattern that I'll get this weekend. I know that the pump works fine because it's brand new and If I pull the return fuel line and push in the end of the quick release It sprays halfway across my garage. The reason they don't work is because I ran some bad gas through and it gummed up my pump and injectors and that is why it failed.

beats me I don't have anything to test it. The pump that I bought is the same one that came stock on the cannondales. I bought a GSL414 from Walbro. I actually bought it through the factory instead of through a dealer. One thing that was different was that the upper banjo bolt was too long. I had to use a spacer to make it work. Do you know any good places that I would be able to take it to get tested?

Do you think the fuel could pass the injectors without going in if the fuel pressure is too strong?

Do you have the D&M tool?I would hook it up and try reloading the HEX code.It sounds like the ECU isnt opening your injectors. This can happen when you fuel pump goes bad.It can corrupt the hex code or even fry the ecu.Either way you will know by hooking up the D&M.

I don't have any tools for the ecm. It is an MC500 so I'm not sure if there's anything that I can upload. I thought the only thing that I could do with this ecm is to adjust my air/fuel ratio with the little adjustment screw on the front of the box. When I was trying to find what was wrong with my fuel pump I took out my MX400 ecm and put my stock one in, but after replacing the fuel pump I put that ecm back in. I don't think this has anything to do with my ecm. I think I'm going to have this friend of mine look at it. He was one of the first guys to buy/race an FX400 when they first came out. I think he'll get me squared away
