does anyone know where to get a temperature gauge? I've been trying to contact the guys at Warped Performance for my friends banshee but they don't respond. I was wondering if they had one compatible for the dales.

I ORDERED A HEAT SEEKER FROM WARPDRIVEPERFORMANCE.COM THAT IS ACTUALLY FOR THE SUZUKI Z400. I TOLD THE GUY THAT I HAD A DALE AND SOMEONE HAD TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD WORK. I AM SUPPOSED TO SEND HIM SOME PICS SO THAT HE CAN START OFFERING THEM FOR THE DALE. I CUT INTO THE TOP RADIATOR HOSE TO INSTALL IT. IT WAS TIGHT TO GET IN THE HOSE BUT ONLY TOOK ABOUT TEN MINUTES FOR THE WHOLE INSTALLATION.

I AM RUNNING ENGINE ICE WITH A CR9EK PLUG. THE GAUGE IS SHOWING ABOUT 130 DEGREES. IS THAT NORMAL? I AM GOING TO PUT THE CR8EK BACK AND SEE HOW MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE IT MAKES.

 

WELL I PUT THE CR8EK BACK IN THE BIKE AND REALLY WENT FOR A LONG RIDE. AT IDLE IT STAYS AT ABOUT 120 DEGREES VERSUS 125-130 DEGREES WITH THE CR9EK. AFTER CRUISING IN FIFTH GEAR FOR ABOUT TWO AND A HALF MILES IT WAS SHOWING ANYWHERE FROM 150-160 DEGREES.

NOT BEEN TO THE TRACK TOO MUCH LATELY BUT ME AND A FEW FRIENDS HAVE BEEN AT THE SPILLWAY AND AROUND THE HOUSE PRETTY OFTEN SINCE NOVEMBER OR SO. GLAD TO HEAR THAT MIKEY IS DOING GOOD! (IT MUST BE THE GENES [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]) I NEED TO HOOK UP WITH YOU GUYS ONE WEEKEND TO SEE JR AT WORK. I WAS LAID UP A WHILE WITH THE CRACK IN THE ENGINE CASE BUT NOW I'M JB WELDED UP AND GIVIN IT HELL AGAIN. ONE OF MY FRIENDS JUST BOUGHT A BANSHEE AND WANTS TO TAKE A TRIP TO FERNWOOD ONE WEEKEND SO MAYBE WE CAN ALL GET TOGETHER AND MAKE A DAY OUT OF IT. TELL MIKE TO GIVE ME A CALL ONE DAY SO WE CAN SET SOMETHING UP WHEN HIS BIKE IS READY.

It is very fast and a lot of table tops and wide lots of room for passing. Mike should have his bike going in maybe march. I have been on his behind about getting it fixed I miss watching him ride.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

Ya must be in the geans cause he can ride. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] We are going to be in Gonzalis this Saturday you should come check him out. The races start at 10 and the last race was over at 1:30. They split the class in to 2 days and we only have 11 class on Saturday all the minis and quads on one day and all the big bike on the other. Works out good no ruts for the little people and no crying from the money riders that the QUADS mess up the track.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

So tell Ronnie to bring his son to come race with us this weekend. We need to make the mini 50cc quad class bigger so they will run them by there selfs. Right they run them with the 90s but thats ok for now.
