it is an 02 440 speed. has the race tranny in it.

first how do i check the oil?

how do i check the air cleaner (i can't even find it)

where can i get a manual?

any thing i should check or look out for?

is there away to see what map it has in it?

it has no off idle power? it can't move itself at an idle is these normal?

other than that it runs hard and i love it!!!!!

First off go the cannondalers and cannondariders web sites and do a search on your questions. Check out the knowledge base forum. Every owners manual ,service manual ,mapps and service bulliten is totally free for the downloading. Get a D&M kit for changing maps and service functions. Engine oil is checked by removing the right side headlight cover ,running the engine for a minute. Then screwing the dipstick all the way in and removal. It should be in the center of the two marks. Never ever ,ever overfill or your engine will regergitate excess oil into you airbox. Tranny oil is checked with a sight glass or check plug next to where the shifter shaft goes into the left side cover. The tranny fill is on the same cover about 6 inches above the sight glass. Do not attempt to change oil without following the owners manual. There are 3 engine oil drainsand 2 oil filter. 1 Tranny filter .. Many times owners set the idle way to low and end up with stalling problems off idle. Idle should be set at 2300rpm minimum which sounds fairly high compared to every other quad but its right. By race tranny I assume you mean it has the close ratio 5th gear. Its great for mx and duning but not the hot setup for trail riding. Trust me everything you need to know is at the dale web sites if you just download the free info and do a search on your questions. There are several required updates and most are easy to check for and cheap to do. These quads can be highly rewarding or total nightmares depending on how they are treated so i recommend becoming a knowledge sponge and dig in and have fun.
