Default Crank resolution answer for owners

I called Crank Works in Tempe AZ today.. I asked what they do. They will pull apart the old crank, install new Z400 bearing, press crank back together. They check the crank for balance while it's apart. I can't explain it as I am unsure. When it's together they will add weight if needed at 18cents a gram.. As much as 100 grams could be used or as little as zero.. They harmonically and dynamically balance them... You must send the piston on the rod w/ the circlips and rings. Every crank/piston set up will weigh different!!!!!!!!!!!!! The goal is to get them w/in two grams of perfect.. 135 bucks plus the cost of how many grams of material and you supply the Z400 big end rod bearing...
