Ok, I'm getting more and more interested and hopefully you can answer a couple questions for me.

Which is faster, Raptor... LOL, just messing around.

Anyways, for those of you with the FX400 how has the longer term reliability of the power plant been, I know its pretty early but any problems yet? It has a really high compression ratio and makes pretty good power so I was just wondering if the longevity has been affected greatly?

What kind of shocks are on the Cannibal as opposed to the Speed that has Ohlins? Do they feel much different than the Speeds (or FX400's)?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated, Aaron.

First of all the 02 Cannibals are the same as the 01 FX. I'm not exactly sure, but the pics on Cannondale site, show the shocks as being Arvins, black w/yellow springs, but mine has the same shocks as the 01 FX...Goldish body w/Yellow springs and I'm almost positive that they are Ohlins, but remember I'm not sure. AS for the relaibility of the engine, your right it is still a little early to tell, but it should be relaible, and if there is some kind of design flaw, I'm sure C-dale will fix it.

I've been told that the first 300 Cannibals are getting the Ohlins, after that, it's the cheap shocks.

If you can get one of the early production Cannibals, they have the Ohlins suspension, the ITP alluminum wheels, the longer shifter, newer corrosion resistant fastners, the engine has been anodized and clear coated plus they're about $1000 cheaper than the FX400. I saw one at the dealer the other day where I bought mine and I was kind of jealous, it had more goodies than my
FX and was so much cheaper.
