I love C'dale for what they have done recently but a little birdie whispered that they might go belly up sooner than later.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

Aparently mister Cannondale himself already had to cough up 14 Million of his own (well ours actually) money to keep the thing going.
Guess the recent ATV and MTB recalls won't do them any good either.

Should I buy or wait for a couple of month???

 

The birdie lied. No seriously I would think there mountin bike sales would keep them going but I don't know.

 

Buy American,I..dont know about that. I beleive Cannondale is smart enough not to let that happen to them. I cant imagine the amount of money that it took to put the quads and motorcycles out with the R&D, new machinery,and NEW PLANT,but I would have to think that if they were in any serious trouble that they would'nt still be advertising new models, because apparantly the new models are'nt even completed yet. Would'nt they stop right there and leave it at the FX,Cannibal, and the new motorcycle that they have just completed until things got better? Then again you never know. Who was this little birdie anyway. I tell you one thing if Cannondale is in trouble,although I dont have thousands or millions to give I would be more than happy to do what I could to help them out as I'm sure every Cannondale owner would,I'm talking ATV,DirtBike and Bicycle owners. They are the most carring and proffesional manufacture out there and nothing less. AS far as buying now or later, depends on what type of ridding you do and what kind of features you want, do you want or need any of the new models or will the FX or Cannibal suit your needs (or wants).

 

one thing i would like to add is that the Cannibal's that they are now selling have ohline shocks, aluminum wheels and holeshot tires. Andt they are going to have the same price as the new cannibal's that have Arvin(I am not shure how they are spelled) shocks, differant tires. and steel wheels. so if that is what you want i would suggest you get one soon. But if you want the new electronics and can spend more then wait till the new speed ($1,000 more) comes out. Unless you want the moto or blaze (woods) quads but they will cost alot more.
