Question for Cdaleracer
#11
Thanks Cdale, I'll do that. I have to give you credit, you take care of every detail. I've been flat on my back all weekend because of back spasms. Man, does this hurt, not to mention messing up my riding plans. I got a chance to sit on a new Cannibal last weekend, and seat is so much nicer than mine. I guess I'm going to call a local guy and get my seat reworked. The way my back has been bothering me I just can't take that hard seat anymore. I'm going to get softer foam put in it and have him ad another 1 or 2 inches of foam. I hope this will fix the problem.

Yep! cddcpa, bently, and 4strokemadman you guys are right. The valves need adjusting every 25hrs. I just want to appoligize to every one that has read my post about the valve adjustment. I also want to thank all of you guys for bringing this to my attention. I would have never known if it were not for you. This is what we are all in this forum for is help and I appretiate it. I never thought you guys were wrong, but I said I would find out from Cannondale and I did. I'm making this reply to say thanks and I'm sorry. Anyway, back problems too AWSOME88250R? I know from one of your earlier post what happend I think. 400EX subframe? I hurt my back about 5 yrs. ago it doesnt realy bother me that much anymore now that I'm able to work it some without it putting me down and out. 3yrs ago I wouldn't last 10 min. on any quad without being layed up for 3days afterwards. Have you tried one of those riding belts? If you never tried one it does make a BIG difference.

C'dale I use a riding belt, and I've tried about everything out there. When my back gets in a funk, the only cure is to just lay down and take it easy until it mends up. That seat is just one of many factors contributing to the problem. As for the value adjusting, I think my dealer will be performing that surgery for me. What a job.
