I'm going to look at a 2001 C-dale FX400 this weekend and don't really know what to look for. Are thet're any problems I should look for? Are you guys happy with yours? What questions should I ask the guy? (maintence wise) I've never took an interest in a 4 stroke until now so I don't really know what to look for in them especially this one. I could use any advice you could give me thatnks alot.

All the recall stuf should be done by now.It takes a little
longer to do maintence work,but its worth it.

I'm not scared of the work that comes with the bike because I modified the hell out of my LT250r. I was just wondering if the bike is worth selling my LT.

If you haven't been around one or rode one don't be discouraged from the motor that sounds like it's full of rocks. Those are the gear driven cams and are normal sounds for this engine. Just takes some getting used to. {No, I don't own one}
