Tether type kill switch on cannibal
#1
Has anyone hooked up a tether type kill switch on their Cannibal yet?
If so What type did you use and how did you hook it up?
I heard you need the type that goes on a snowmobile or jet ski that is always in contact until pulled vs. the one on most atvs that are normally open then close the connection when pulled.
Any help would be appriciated. I just bought one and need to get it ready for racing season.

I think the best setup would be to use the one being put on the Blaze and Moto. It has a new bracket that comes off the bar mounts, does away with the black plastic cover over the center of the bars for when you use aftermarket bars, taper or crossbar bars will work with it. And it is an all metal bracket and switch assembly, no cheap plastic like most aftermarket ones.
I can grab the digitsl camera and email you a picture if you notify me you are interested in this type.

I can only assume your Cannibals electrics are the same as my FX. I put one on mine last summer for racing and yes it is a normally closed contact. The two choices I had were to either get a kill switch from Bombardere ATV or add a cube relay. They would've had to order a switch so I put in the relay(I had my first race that weekend). It isn't hard at all. I got the relay from radio shack and can send you a print if you want. If not, get the Bomb one.

I have a Pro Design kill switch and when I hooked it up to my Cannibal, it wouldn't start. I unhooked it and it started right up. I guess it wasn't allowing the plug to get enough spark and I don't know what to do. Any of you know what the deal might be?
