To people who are financing your Cannondales...

I convinced my mom that if I get a job she would get a loan for a new quad and I want a C-Dale bad. The only problem is if I get a job, it will probably be at a fast food restaurant and I don't know if I will make enough to pay the payments on a $7-8k quad. So my question is, what are your monthly payments and what kind of interest rates do you have? I would appreciate some responses. Thank you.

Have you looked at the possibility of getting a used C'dale, definitely be cheaper for you. www.cycletrader.com - this is a good site to find quads. I recently saw a used FX400 for less than $4000.00!!
I would imagine your local C'dale dealer does financing, check with them. They are probably a little higher than going through a credit union or bank though. There are several web sites you can go to to check what your payment would be on a certain amount of $ plus your time of that loan. Here is one such web site, very easy to use:
http://www.bankamerica.com/tools/auto_payment.html
For instance, if you were to borrow $6,000 for 4 years at 8% interest, your payment would be approximately $146.00.
Hope this helps and good luck!!

CornDog, didn't see the FX in cycletrader.com or the most recent mag I have. I still need to get a job first but the way I see it is, if BK or McDonalds hires ******** that screw up your order every single time, they would want to hire someone with common sense. Oh I didn't see that FX400 for $4000.00 either but I would imagine it was gone fast for that price.

We talked in an earlier thread about extended warranties on the C'dales. One person on this forum got an extended warranty from
Western Service Contract Corp - 800-543-5225. GAR stated he purchased this warranty for $350 for 4 years with a $50 deductible but I called this company and they stated they did not offer any such warranty for the C'dale's so I'm not sure what the deal is with that. Too bad because that is a great price in my mind.
Another person got an extended warranty from Pinnacle Protection Plan at (888) 999-6860 - this one was $640 for a 60 month warranty but I believe the deductible with Pinnacle was only $25.
Unfortunately my dealer did not offer any such extended warranty from any company.

I traded in my 300ex and I think I still ended up owing around $6300 and I am paying $208 a month for 3 years. Its kinda hard putting away over half of your paycheck every month but when you look at the quad it gets easier. I didn't really want an extended warranty because I race and I don't wanna pay for the extended warranty if I end up getting a mod that would void it anyways. I hope your able to get the quad man. I'm gonna get to check it out at the track on Feb. 3! and I'm goin to Little Sahara for Spring Break so I'm really excited to see how it performs at the track and dunes. I'm REALLY excited about the trip to Glamis next winter. I can barely wait and its almost a year away. Thats gonna kill me waiting that long . Sorry, I got a little off track but once I start thinking about it I can't quit talkin about it.
