The new hydraulic clutch is awesome. Totally adjustable and well worth waiting. I made the mistake of getting the manual clutch and the lever is too far away from the bar for my liking.

The Speed also has the reinforced swing arm, same one that's on the Moto.

Trout,

Sorry, you can't change a Cannibal to hydraulic clutch, the engine case is different than the Speed, Blaze, and Moto and it will not accept the stock cannondale setup. Magura and others do offer hydraulic clutch addon kits for other quads, but as of last week none of them had plans to offer it for the Cannondale, there just wont be enough units without the hydraulic clutch for them to come out with its specific kit, mounts, etc.
You may want to go ahead and pop for the Speed with the 1000 fuel system and hydraulic clutch.

All Speed, Blaze, and Moto are shipped with a hydraulic clutch, after February 4, Cannibals will be shipped with Arvins and some will be shipped with a hydraulic clutch as the new hydraulic clutch engine cases are phased in.

Boosted,

The Speeds shipping through about three weeks ago still have the open non-reinforced swingarm, I am not sure if this has been implemented to the Speed as of this date. Please notify me if you have seen this on a Speed yet.

cddcpa,

Picked up a Speed last Saturday. It has the reinforced swing arm identical to the Moto that was also at the dealer. The Speed came with a Cannondale "dyno" (build) sheet dated 1-14-02, if that's any help. Maybe I just got lucky.

How can I tell if I got the reinforced swingarm? I haven't seen a moto so I don't know what to look for.

JayBR,

Easy, there is no hole in the swingarm. A plate is welded in it's place.

Got my Speed in mid-December. It's got the reinforced swingarm. The production number is #72.
