Breaking in your new Jeep at LS
#21
Like I said in my previous post, put up or shut up!! I have several witnesses to this jeep jumping plus I have the address of the owner of the jeep in South Carolina. He was stationed at the air force base in Enid Oklahoma. Him and a buddy of his were out there that day jumping this thing. So if you are so sure it's still fake, put your quad up and I'll put up my C'dale and everyone here will witness this bet. I will supply the proof and you will ship me your quad, bet or not!!??

The bet is that the picture of the jeep jumping is not real. I posted this pic:

And this person does not believe it's real. I have several witnesses that were there that day watching this guy and his buddy jump this jeep. So I'm betting I can prove the picture is real and I will bet my C'dale against whatever quad he has.

Hey AZ400L, I went to your forum you listed in your reply and read all the responses to your post about the jeep pic being fake. I'll be more than happy to supply proof to all these knowitalls as well if they want to put up some material goods in a wager. I especially like the last response from RangerBeast69 stating his mom is a professional
in the photo biz and she confirms, it's fake. So, gather up all your knowitall buddies and whatever crap they want to wager and I'll supply the proof!!

I'm gonna have to weigh in and say the picture is real (just my humble opinion of course). I've seen a bunch of hokey pictures that were doctored (the huge cat) and this one doesn't have that same "something's wrong look" to it. I guess the biggest thing that sold me on its authenticity is the fact that you can see under the jeep (like the underside of the chassis), all the way around, so either the picture was taken underneath a glass bridge and pasted onto the sand, or the thing's genuine. I also thought about it being taken on a car lift, but the flag is sprung, so I still think the thing is in the air, cause you just can't get that kind of angle without being 6' below the level of the jeep. The shadow underneath is also correct given the layout of the terrain(the small slope away from the camera). And finally, the sand falling away from the rear axle doesn't look like most airbrush jobs, the lighting, texture and coloring are consistent with the density of sand and where it would 'bunch up' before take-off.
Again, my humble opinion, I could be wrong. I've been wrong before, just ask my wife

But I need lunch money this week!! Now it's the principle of the issue, someone is saying I'm a liar. And to top it off, this pic was taken with a Fuji disposable camera, not exactly an expensive piece of photographic equipment!! I've had good experience with these $5 cameras from WalMart. That's what I took all the pics at Grand Lake jumping the waverunners as well:

Brian, sorry dude I would of posted MUCH earlier if I would of known that this was going to be this big of a deal to some people and they even seem to be attacking your character even though they have never met you before. I was their the weekend that you took this picture and I remember seeing two things: One C'dale(which I believe it was you) and that there jeep on the sand. I did not see the jumps(dammit),But I do know that YOU were their and That JEP was their. So I to would like to see someone put their Money(quad) were their "character" is, and lets see what happens.
P.S. I have never met brian, but to call someone a liar you've never met before is NO laughing matter.
