I think Sun is a Cannondale dealer, they're on washington and about 88th in denver. Colorado powersports in boulder has an 01 fx400 used and I think they will deal it pretty well. I'm not advertising for them, I went there last saturday and talked with a friend that is a salesperson there. He says there isn't much interest in it and it has been sitting on their lot for a while. Most people that come look at it, he says end up looking at or buying a new raptor. It is in really good shape. If I wanted one, I'd buy that one. I think If I buy another quad though, it'll most likely be a ute. I don't know if you bought your new cdale yet, but might be worth looking into this one if you haven't.

So, is anyone going to the walden dunes in march then?

 

Have you ever tried PMI in Pueblo? Pretty big area with lots of jumps, trails, hillclimbs, and a motocross track. It's free and about 40 minutes from the springs. It is just north of Pueblo, so you don't get the stink! LOL!

Trout, if you plan to make a trip to the true Little Sahara in the US (which is in Utah) we should hook up. We go about every weekend weather permitting of course. Easter weekend is crazy and you will see the fastest banshees built by K&T top the biggest baddest hill around at over 80mph. I'm not into hillshooting but I'll watch those badboyz run. I like jumping and railing the bowls, and if you come I'll show you the sights.

I should have my new Cannondale Speed or Suzuki real soon, so we need to hookup if you decide to make a trip.

Little Sahara in Oklahoma is by Waynoka but the closes town of any size is Enid Oklahoma which LS is some 70 miles W/NW of Enid. Not sure exactly the distance but probably around 500 miles. Each time I go out there I meet people that have drove down from Iowa and Minnesota, their trips are like 16 hours, one way. It's amazing how far people drive to go to LS.

I rode with your brother at Glamis this weekend. He said you where supposed to come. It was really windy. I left sunday afternoon. Their plan was maybe San Diego or straight to Dumont.

He talked alot about your owning half of the 250R's in the state. Of course he had to Wrench on his bike. One hour re-jetting.

Smitty911, I was planning on making the trip but I'm quadless right now. I have an '86 250r(he's right I've owned a bunch) that I'm selling so I didn't really want to beat the **** out of it when someone has already given me a deposit. I'm waiting for my new Suzuki or possibly a Speed to come in. I will seriously consider a Speed if I can get a good deal on one.

Your kidding, my brother was wrenching. Hell everytime we go riding he's turning wrenches. Was he jumping good with the Elka's I sold him or was he being a sissy? Maybe we can hook up and tear it up sometime.

From what your brother says I'm not sure I can hang with you guys. He's allot better rider than I am. He jumped a couple of dunes showed me and my bud how it's supposed to be done. First ride on my Speed so I was a little girl out there. I rolled it over a razorback on the way to Comp hill. It landed on it's back, It was me not the bike. I just have to learn to trust the bike.

He did ride the speed around, ask him about it he liked it. Shame that all of you couldn't come, he said that he planned on this for over a year with 10 or so buds and only he came. I was embarressed about the coditions of our dunes, trash all over the place. I'll have to plan a trip to this Sand Mountain place he kept talking about. Sounds like a great ride.
