C-DALE For a big guy?
#2
Hey 250r89, I'm 6;2, 175 and the pegs/bars/seat would be a great fit for you. As for the suspension, I have wondered a few times if they designed it for 220 lb riders. Its kinda firm. I bet it would support you more than any other stock quad except the DS. I believe the 'dales are strong enough, but I'm not sure if anybody really knows yet. Go ahead be the first big guy to win on a cannondale!!!

Thanks for the responce man but 175 vs 300 whew thats a biggie! And I though the Ohlines suspention was the best? Thats what Im worried about being the first big guy to buy one of these. Comeon guys I want to hear somemore

i have a buddy that rides with me that 6'2"and 325 and hes ridden both my raptor and my cannibal
but i highly recommend that you take a good long look at a baja 650 from bombardier
my buddy looks like a giant on these quads and i dont think you gonna be able to move around on it like you want to.
i dont think its a good fit

i know this is a sport quad forum but you should also take a serious look at a
kawasaki prarie 650.
i own one for muddin and it hauls butt/its extremly comfortable and versitle
as well
automatic,600 lbs.
honestly unless your goal is to race, you would be extremly satisfied with the power delivery on the trails
now if your doing dune or desert riding i would stick with my other choice.

Well the riding I will be doing mostly consists of Stpirmines, Jumps Bowls ect, Trails, Hillclimbs, and long stretches of road for Getting there\Drag racing (not realy important). So a Utility Quad is out of the question. I am definatly going sport. I havent rode hard in about a year and a half since my LT250R blew up. Then I was about 50-60 pounds lighter! And you would be suprised how I could get airborn and manuver that thing around. So my choice now is the Banshee or the Cannible. The DS Really seems to big. But then again Ive never rode or seen one.

I have ridden banshee's, 400ex, raptors, DS650 all at once cuz I went to the yam/bomb dealer and they let me test ride all of them in case I wanted to trade my 400ex for one of their machines.
DS has little low end for a big 4stroke, it hauls *** when you ghet in mid and then the rev limiter kick in too early. feels kinda big but handled well. The suspension is THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN. a real comfy quad too. kinda hard to wheelie thou. I liked it, it's the only 4 stroke I have ever made donuts with on asphalt.
the rator powerband feels like a 400ex but it pulls more. It handles like crap IMO always wants to tip over. shocks arent all that good. easy to wheelie. seating postion is a little weird. I'm not a big fan of the rator.
I used to own a 2000 banshee with all the bolt ons(look at my sig) and let me tell you that the shock on a banshee wont last a week with a guy your weight cuz I blew my front ones and I weight only 220lbs. It's a much smaller quad than the lt250r you used to have(I had one of these too) An one thing I noticed on the banshee is that if you put more weight on it IT WILL BE THE SLOWEST THING OUT THERE. I know cuz I took a girl home(she weights about 90lbs so add 220+90) and my banshee had a hard time going up a hill on asphalt, it felt like a blaster that's because the banshee is more of a HP machine than a torque machine. BTW a banshee is about the worst woods machine I have ever ridden, it's low(no gorund clearance) and has not low end.
I have never ridden a C-DALE but I would look into a DS650 if I were you.
