I ordered a new chain slide from my dealer to have one on hand, and when it arrived yesterday I pulled it out of the box and it was totally different than the one I have on my quad! It is long and has a arch/bend in it, it looks like it wraps around the swingarm and protects the top of the swingarm and then the underneath sideof the swingarm as well, intersting. anybody have one of these? it looks sweet though, only like 12$

Hey Trout!
That sounds like the extra I have on hand. I've just worn through my 2nd slide and hope the new one is harder. I think they are the same though. ????

yea, they look different and protect more, but the material is identical from what I can feel with my hands and fingernails.

That long one is for the dirt bike, thats what they gave me.I trimed
the bottom part to the quad length, but they wore just as fast.
The one on my speed isa shiny thicker plastic. My swing arm also looks
more narrow at the pivit point.I might be wrong though. The chain
slider looks diferent for shure.
